Imperatore Adriano is a family business 50% Spanish and 50% Italian. Born in the hands of Adriano Lombardi, an Italian textile salesman, he met Elisa Palau, a Spaniard and dressmaker, on one of his trips to Spain in 1946. Mutual admiration leads to a hidden relationship of their respective families through postal mail. Neither the post-war Spanish nor their respective families could destroy the relationship of love that existed between them.
In 1952 difficult times were going on in Spain when Elisa and Adriano started a tailor-made clothing workshop for women. The second generation in 1983 led by Nuria Lombardi pushed the family textile business with more force instructing the new generations of the family being a clear reference for its feminine and elegant designs, inspired by the Mediterranean woman: ruffles, polka dot prints and flowers dance to the sound of all the collections.
In 2010, the third generation of the family was born, Adriano, the only generational relay affectionately called by the family as “Imperatore” because of the hope that he will continue with this business that we love and protect.
This is where Mother and son join forces to bring our collections to women all over the world, women who want to feel the femininity and elegance of our designs 100% created in Italy and made in Spain, thus taking care of the quality of our fabrics and the making of them.
Our roots are reflected in each of the designs, inspired by the smell of our vineyards, the Mediterranean sea air, a Spanish guitar playing as a backdrop and the print of a Spanish thoroughbred horse. Festivities, culture, folklore and traditions are the thread of each stitch in each design.
Imperatore Adriano is a family of dressmakers, designers and pattern makers, who love this wonderful business. The satisfaction of our clients is the engine of our Mediterranean company.
What will I do if I … was born in the Mediterranean (Juan Manuel Serrat).
